Gov’t, PSVI, UNICEF forge partnership for COVID vaccination rollout

The government has signed an agreement with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Private Sector Vaccine Initiative (PSVI) to facilitate a seamless registration and scheduling process of the COVID-19 vaccine among the population.

Deliverables from the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which was signed on March 17, will see UNICEF deploying a Vaccination Management System. This platform is slated to become operational by April.

Meanwhile, the PSVI handed over 400 tablet computers and other electronic devices that will be used at vaccination sites across the island.
